Hanceys Turf provides domestic and commercial clients with turf management services, these services can include the following-

Mowing :

Our team and our mowers can set up mowing programs to suit your requirements and budgets. Our Fleet of mowers include fairway mowers and large area slashers.

Fertilising :

We can routinely manage a fertiliser program for your surface. We offer both liquid and solid fertilisers for the various situations. Our programs can vary from weekly syringe applications to controlled release 16 week applications.

Pest Control :

In the warmer months it is important to control any Lawn grubs, Beetles or Mites that may be active in your lawn. We can work in with you to develop a program to maintain thick and lush green turfgrass year round.

Weed Control :

We have the machinery and expertise to manage all weeds from crowsfoot to clover via both pre and post applications of safe turf registered chemicals.

De-thatching :

Our De-thatcher can quicker remove thatch and open up your turf surface. It is best to do this in the Spring time.

Aeration :

Hanceys Turf operate 2 large Verti-drain aerators which are used year round. These help with de-compaction of the soil profile and let air, water, fertiliser get deep down into the rootzone. A regular program of aerating is benefitial for best year round results.

Top Dressing

Our top dressing machines are capable of top dressing large ovals as well as we have the experience in top dressing small areas. It is best to top dress in the warmer months when the turf is actively growing
