Grand Royal is a soft leaf buffalo that has been breed in South East Queensland, therefore making it ideal for the region's climate. This buffalo tolerates shade and full sun areas and requires minimal fertiliser and watering. It has a deep green colour, is hard wearing and it forms a thick mat to keep weeds out.

Grand Royal is suitable for home lawns, parks and sporting fields.
