The management and staff of Hancey's Turf Supplies are commited to delivering high quality turf and services to the retail, commercial and sports markets.

We recognise the high levels of service required by our customers in the delivery of turf products and services. Our aim is to be diverse, flexible and responsive to customer requirements in the provision of high quality turf supplies and services that are timely, efficient, economic,safe, environmentily friendly and aestheticly pleasing.

Turf Renovation

Hancey's Turf has the experience, knowledge and equipment to look after all of your turf renovation needs from a single green to a whole sporting ground. We offer services including aeration, fertilizing, turf planting, top dressing, pest and weed control, scarifying and re-construction.

Turf Laying

Hancey's Turf can prepare and install any turf job from home lawns to golf courses. We have an experienced team that can look after your specialist needs.

Landscaping

The Hancey's Turf team can design and construct a range of landscapes for your home or business. Aeration / Verti-draining

For optimum results and healthy, lush turf, your soil may need to be aerated. Aeration is essential on sporting surfaces and golf courses where the soil is squashed, preventing water from draining through the soil. Grass roots find it impossible to penetrate downwards, causing the grass to be surface hugging. The most effective approach for solving aeration challenges is verti-draining or compact relief. Verti-draining is a process where the soil is shattered and multiple fissures are created in the soil profile, thus allowing air into the soil. Washed Turf

Washed turf is ideal for cricket wickets, golf courses and sporting fields. Washed turf has quicker root establishment than standard turf due to the increased root biomass. Put simply, the greater number of roots able to have direct contact with the soil on site, the better the root growth. Standard conventional turf takes time to establish because of the stress of harvesting, transportation and installation.

Washed turf establishes roots immediately after installation, usually in about 2–3 days. The roots penetrate quickly and deeply into the soil profile, resulting in a healthier, more wear tolerant turf.

The advantages of using washed turf include:

• Quicker root establishment and lateral growth
• Increased root biomass
• Increased percolation and downward movement of water
• Less shipping weight and transportation costs
• The potential for soil born pathogens, insects and weed seed is reduced
• No soil laying.

Our large capacity Dakota Turf Tender is designed specifically to be used on golf courses, sporting fields, race courses and council parks. Experienced drivers can deliver your new lawn when you require, on time. Our delivery area covers all of Brisbane metropolitan and the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and Kingaroy. Hancey's Turf offers free delivery from Noosa to Brisbane when 50 square meters or more of turf is purchased. For large commercial and sporting surfaces, Hancey's Turf will deliver Australia wide.
